Homework Policy
Homework is given each night. Parkland School District suggests that 4th graders have 40 minutes of homework each night.
Test Folders
Students will receive their yellow Test folders with all of the graded tests for the week about twice a month. Assessments should be reviewed as a family and signed and returned to school the next day.
Wonders and Reading
Students should complete 20 minutes of independent reading each night. All of the reading can be tallied for the monthly Book It! and the book reports for each marking period.

- All assignments will be recorded in the student assignment book that is provided by Schnecksville Elementary School.
- Homework will should always be inside the red SHARK folder
- Please check your child's assignment book each night to ensure that all work is being completed.
- Homework is an excellent opportunity for independent practice and for your child to share what they have learned in school with you!
- Homework will be checked everyday. If a student misses an assignment they will be required to make up the missing work.
